01比赛是欧美最常用的比赛规则，正规的国内、国际比赛一般都采用此规则。


它得名于比赛总是从301分或501分开始的。在非正式的比赛中，也有用701或1001分的。规则简述如下：

比赛开始前，每名选手各投一支镖，离中心距离最近者先投。这叫掷牛眼(掷牛眼的严谨定义见ADO规则)。
多名选手轮流上场，每轮投三支镖。每轮的得分从他的总分中减去。首先恰好减至0分者获胜。

每名选手结束比赛的那支镖(不一定是第三支镖)必须打在两倍区内，这叫倍出(Double-Out)。

飞镖是一项以握手开始，握手结束的休闲运动，并且带有很大的游戏成分，要认真比赛，并保持愉悦的精神状态，不必过于严肃、拘束和较真。


1．争红心前与对方适当谦让，后争红心者可替对方拔镖。将飞镖交给对方时，应手持镖尖，将镖身递给对方。双方应握手致意，互道“好运气”（GOOD LUCK）。

2．要等计分员做好准备后再投镖。

3．对方比赛时要保持安静，避免走动，不要干扰对方选手。在比赛选手和镖盘之间，只能有计分员一人，其他人不要在比赛选手的视线之内，比赛的另一方应在对方身后的60厘米以外，不要探身去看对方飞镖的落点，或报对方的分数。在对方选手投完一轮后，可予适当称赞“好镖”（GOOD DARTS，NICE SHOOT）。
